10-Day NCC Training Camp Commences in Gonda, Cadets Receive Mantras for Success
A 10-day annual NCC training camp has begun in Gonda, focusing on physical, mental, and leadership development for 535 cadets.

NCC Training Camp Begins in Gonda
A grand inauguration ceremony marked the start of the 10-day annual training camp-170, organized by the 48 UP Battalion NCC at the Ashram Paddhati Vidyalaya in Mankapur, Gonda. A total of 535 NCC cadets from Gonda and the 49th Battalion Deoria are participating in this significant training program.
The camp is designed with the objective of developing the physical, mental, and leadership capabilities of the cadets. Addressing the cadets during the inauguration, Commanding Officer Colonel Sunil Kapoor emphasized that identifying opportunities in adverse situations is the hallmark of skilled leadership. He further stressed that collective efforts are crucial for successfully facing any challenging situation.
Colonel Kapoor also acknowledged the valuable support from the local administration, the electricity department, and the village heads, whose combined efforts made the event possible. The importance of discipline and national service was highlighted during the camp.
Discipline and National Service Emphasized
During this ten-day training camp, NCC cadets are being provided with extensive military training. Subjects such as discipline, development of leadership skills, enhancement of physical fitness, and the importance of national service are being taught in depth.
Colonel Sunil Kapoor shared five key mantras for success for the bright future of the cadets. These include complete concentration on studies, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, respecting elders, and the positive and judicious use of technology. He particularly advised the youth to avoid excessive use of mobile phones and focus on their constructive applications.
Personality Development and Future Preparation
In addition to Colonel Sunil Kapoor, several senior NCC officers and dignitaries were present, including Deputy Camp Commandant Major Rajaram, Captain N.K. Mishra, Lieutenant Sanjay Shukla, Lieutenant Harendra Yadav, Second Officer Amit Singh, Dr. Bhupendra Bahadur Singh, Dr. Madhavesh Singh, and Udaybhan.
This training camp is expected to be a milestone in the holistic development and personality building of the cadets. Within the disciplined military environment, the cadets are preparing themselves for nation-building. Colonel Kapoor expressed confidence that after this training, the cadets will move forward with renewed energy, self-confidence, and a sense of responsibility, contributing to the nation's development.
